Bangalore West Lions Superspeciality Eye Hospital was founded on 30th June 1984, a project of Lions Club of Bangalore West Trust as a non-religious, non-political, non-sectarial, tax-exempt charitable hospital. Hospital was started with a vision to conquer blindness and provide outstanding ″ Ophthalmological ″ services to the less fortunate and to lower and middle income group at most affordable tariff.
Hospital is a teaching institution and a Training Centre with over 100 staff members. Our Eye Bank is a member of International Federation of Eye Banks, U.S.A & member of Eye Bank Association of India.

St.John’s Medical College Hospital is a tertiary medical service centre with 1200 beds.
