Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health is a premier organization promoting Child Health Care services.It is an autonomous body, registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960 as ‘Institute of Child Health, Karnataka’on 06.08.1985 and its aided by Government of Karnataka, Since 1991. It is non-profit organization located in its own premises next to the National Institute of Mental and Nuero Sciences at the South Hospital Complex in Bangalore.

- Patients, who are suffering from very serious and potential fatal diseases such as cancer, cardiac, kidney, brain tumour, trauma etc. Those parents/guardian`s income is below Rs.20,000/- per annum are eligible to avail the Hon`ble chief minister`s medical relief fund benefit. Priority will be given to persons belonging to the scheduled Tribes, economically weaker sections and Landless poor.
